Description

Scrapbook of journalist and novelist Harold Edwin Flagg from the early 1980's years while he worked in South Florida and the Bahamas. Gained some notoriety for disappearing in Peruvian Jungle but later reappearing. Scrapbook has photos, ads, postcards, brochures, pins from the Floroda Keys to Cuba. Early Cuban photos. Interesting Castro lapel pin. Scrapbook is quite worn with foxing, stains, etc. Flagg died in 2015. Served in Europe during WW II and was named to the French Legion of Honor in 1949.
