This vintage Bakelite brooch was carved from a a lovely shade of chocolate brown colored Bakelite. It has a rectangular bar shape and has been decorated with beautifully executed leaf inspired c
arvings.
The brooch measures 3 7/8" x 3/4" at its widest point. The brooch is approximately 1/4" thick and weighs 16 grams.
The brooch tests positive for Bakelite using Simichrome polish. (See photo #10) No chips or cracks were seen.
The brooch has its original rollover "c" clasp that is in perfect working order and stays closed when worn.
