On the back of the clasp it is signed Patient Number 2066969 with B.
This round dome pin has a gold finish (possibly unmarked gold plate) with red, white, and blue enamel highlights.
The pinback features the charitable organization's iconic Red Cross emblem in the center.
In the banner it states American Red Cross Volunteer.
This style of pin denoted the Production unit of the American Red Cross Volunteer Special Service Corps (1946-1967)
The pin could be worn on a hat, vest, lapel, tie tack or displayed.
This pin concave  is approximately 1 inch across.
