Description
This is a set of 6 flat cups, made by Heinrich & Co. in Selb, Bavaria. They are in the HC9 pattern, which features black circles between gold bands, forming a border pattern. This pattern dates to approximately 1938, and was discontinued long ago. The cups have 2 slightly different maker's marks, as shown in photos. Each cup is just under 2" tall, 3.25" in diameter, and just over 4" wide, including the handle.
**PLEASE NOTE** One of the cups is broken, and has been glued back together. This cup is not suitable for use, but would be great for display.
5 of the cups are in good pre-owned condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing. They have light wear to the gold trim here and there.
The 6th cup has been broken, and glued together in a rough repair. It is not suitable for use, but would be great for display, since the break and repair is only visible from one side, and could be hidden. The cups come in a padded vinyl zippered storage container, with cardboard dividers, which is also in good condition. As you can see, there is room left in the case for 6 more cups, or for saucers, if you have them.
