Reconditioned vintage 1960s Era Sophia Single shot Pachinko Machine

Description

Up for your consideration is this 1960’s era reconditioned Sophia single shot pachinko machine.
The playfield is the original and there are water stains like most machine of this era please review the photos.
I add 3 rubber grommets to act as a stopper so the balls will bounce back into play rather than loop around. You can remove them if you want but I found this made the game more interactive.

I spent 11 days working on it which included:
Play testing
Disassembly about 90%
Frame hand-sanded inside only and softened edges
Plastics washed
Most steel hardware cleaned/sanded
Most brass hardware parts polished
Brass nails sanded clean and heads shined
95% of the paint removed from chrome frame except some of the hard to reach areas inside
Paint removed from ball dump pin hole
Reassembled
Wired to use a 9v battery
Play tested
Key cylinder is missing so I inserted a plastic cap which I think works quite gracefully.
The window is the original thick glass and I will wedge it tight to the frame before packing.
Special note:
This tulip is crazy fun now and does not act like a normal tulip. I broke one of the brass teeth inside it when attempting to trouble-shoot why it wasn’t closing some of the time. In doing so I discovered that this particular tulip was became more fun. Now the tulip has more interaction with balls. It can be knocked open from the left, or right. If knocked left the right wing opens. Right and the left wing opens. Sometimes both wings can be knocked open. If a ball lands in the pocket just above tulip it will open both as expected, so there’s a lot of variety now unintentionally that I feel works great for a Single shot style. Nails have been adjust to increase win probably.
One last note: if you’re new to single shot pachinko machine here some info you need to know:
1) Never leave the glass window open and walk away! The weight of the glass and frame will tip the machine to fall forward! It’s rare to find pachinko machines with their original thick glass.
2) If you by chance get 2 win pockets at the same time you only get 1 win, the other win ball goes into a reserve jackpot lane. Up to 3 win balls can be reserved on this machine, if you get a 4th reserve that will cause the jackpot light to stay on and you will need to win once more and then manually reset the seesaw located behind the machine, so don’t forget to pay yourself out of your reserves if it is full! I will post a video on how it’s done at your request. This design was changed in later Sophia models.
