    Description

    Wonderful hand brooch from the heyday of Bakelite, 1930s-1940s.
    Butterscotch bakelite hand with fingers gracefully curved and nails painted with red polish, much of which is chipped off. Ruffled and dotted glove edge of hand is cute and clever. One of those tiny black dots is missing. Brass chain bracelet is secure and in excellent condition.
    Back is in great shape. Locking C-clasp pin is present and works well--a snug fit pushing pin into lock. Some tarnish on base of pin. Measures a large 3 5/8".
