    Description

This beautiful vintage menu was used in the 1980s as a menu for Chicago – Boston – Switzerland routes. The cover image was designed by the renowned graphic designer, Kurt Wirth, who was the co-founder of the Swiss Graphic Design Association. The gouache design on the cover is truly a work of art.
A short story history of the pear is included on the back cover. The Swiss essayist, Hugo Loetscher penned the description, written in English, German, and French. The menu is printed on lovely vintage vellum paper in Switzerland.
The menu is in good condition with some slight bending on the upper left- and right-hand corners. It measures 10” long by 7.5” wide.
