    Description

    ABOUT:
Lovely Art Deco 10k solid gold yellow paste stone ring bezel set in an interesting geometric mount.  Small size at 3 1/4 so it fits me as a pink or midi ring, but may have been a child's ring as well.
This ring is from the early 1900s but it was actually never owned / worn!  I purchased about 15 rings from a woman whose family had owned a jewelry store around the turn of the century (c1900).  The rings had been stored away in their old case for all these years and some of them even had the original price tag still on them.  So while it is a genuine old piece, it actually has no wear to the stone or prongs or band - a pretty uncommon find.  The buyer will be its first real owner.
I do not offer sizing but I asked my jeweler for their advice and they said with the prongs on it, it would be sizable, although sometimes the prongs need to be tightened after altering the ring which may lead to an expense.  Some jewelers also size the ring more oval (which is not noticeable while wearing) to add size to the ring without altering the ring face as much, so perhaps check with your local jeweler for options.
    Fun piece to wear!
    SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
Currently about a size 3 1/4.  The paste is about 4mm square.  Lightweight, dainty piece weighs only about .7 grams
    HALLMARKS:
Hallmarked BDA 10k inside the band.
    IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
All my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition.  But this one was never worn so it is in better than most condition with no real issues to report.  The edges of the shank are blunt for an antique ring since it was never worn to rub away at the gold.  Like new old piece.  However with all my antique pieces I always leave a disclaimer that it is not a mint condition item.  This is as close to it as you can get though I'd say. : )
    Thanks so much for looking!
