    Arca aquila 1 5/8” or 38.03mm. Heilprin, 1886-Extinct Rare Collected in the Pinecrest Member (Petuch Unit 7) of the Tamiami Formation in the 1980’s. Apac Pit, Sarasota County, Sarasota, Florida. Piacenzian Pliocene 3.0-3.6 M.Y.A. Coll: Webster Collection. Quite rare and this is an excellent example with only some worming on one valve. Great color at the umbo.
