ANTIQUE  VINTAGE  H&Co. SELB BAVARIA UNIQUE  HAND PAINTED PORCELAIN BOWL
This vintage antique bowl is an original H&Co. Selb Bavaria porcelain bowl with a unique finish on the entire inside appears to be pearlized in “aurora borealis” coloring.  This bowl is in excellent condition.   The bowl does not have any chips or cracks in the porcelain.   The gold rim is slightly tarnished.  The bowl is 8 ½ inches in diameter and just under 3 ½ inches deep.  Ginny Cotner, is the artist that customized and hand painted the outside flowers in blue and white with trailing leaves of green.  The bowl is signed by the top border and dated Feb. 22, 1917.
The identifying crown logo of H&Co. SELB BAVARIA is from the Franz Heinrich and Company, established in 1896 and located in Selb, Germany, which was an area famous for the production of fine bavarian porcelain.
The exact mark shown on the bottom  of this bowl was used from 1911 to 1934.
This is a “one of a kind” and just waiting for that perfect person to purchase it for their collection.
