This is an original edition. The book follows the adventures of 3 American girls who join the Red Cross and journey to Russia to help wounded soldiers during WW1. From the battlefield, to the Tsar's Palace it is a tale of bravery, sacrifice and love n the midst of war.
Hardback cover in good condition - shows some wear as expected for age. Pages in good condition with some aging discoloration of pages as expected for age.

Inspiring and factual book describing the difficult and many times dangerous role of the ARC Nurse played during 66 years of serving.  It uses original documents, newspaper accounts (often vivid) correspondence and memories of persons still living in 1948 and covers WWI and WWII activities.
