    Description

    Two fun items from the old days. Both physically intact. Pencil sharpener is fine, but compass is sometimes North and sometimes not. No mercury in anchor thermometer. Neither item is Bakelite (tested with Simichrome).
    Sharpener marked Made in Germany on back and measures 2" in length. From 1920s - 1930s. Large F at top of thermometer likely stands for Fahrenheit. Measures 1.5 inches. Made 1920s to 1940s, possibly a patriotic charm from WWII.
